Description: The Information Technology Services Help Desk received reports from people experiencing issues logging into systems that use the CAS login as well as VPN through both Pulse Secure and the ssl.binghamton.edu web page. The issues were reported between 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM on February 15, 2022. If people logged in during those times, they may have received a Gateway timeout error or the system would not accept the 2FA One Time Password and would have been unable to authenticate.

Description: Information Technology Services has had reports of issues accessing items in Brightspace. In particular, the "my Courses" widget on the home page is not loading the list of courses. A workaround is to use the "Course Selector" icon above the Brightspace Navbar. There have been other issues reported including access to edit various items within a course. Brightspace has notified us that they are working to resolve the problem: The D2L Network Operations Center (NOC) advises that an event may be impacting your experience with some of our products and/or services. Description: There are currently issues with the login system for some Mac computers in the public computing areas including the Information Commons in Bartle Library, the Science Library and the Fine Arts computer lab and other classroom or lab areas. The issue is being investigated by system administrators in Information Technology Services. The Windows computers and some of the Mac computers are still available for login. Any updates to the status of logins for Mac computers in public areas will be posted to the ITS System Status Page.

They have provided the following information: "This morning there is an issue with SUNY Federation services affecting the ability to log into federated applications. The team is actively investigating the problem. More details soon." ITS will update the System Status Page once we are notified that the problem is resolved.
