| Description | The Binghamton University Central Authentication System (CAS) now requires 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). It was already in place for those who enrolled in 2FA prior to the August 1 deadline. They will just need to enter the One-Time-Password (OTP) that they can view in the authenticator app when prompted during the CAS sign on process. Those who did not enroll their account in 2FA prior to today will need to gain access to the Password Portal using their alternate contacts to set up the 2FA device.
