| 2021-07-16 09:07:51 EDT | The following information is available here: https://www.binghamton.edu/research/spa/pacs.html A cyber intrusion detected last Friday morning caused the Research Foundation Central Office ITS team to isolate all systems. Restoration of the PACS system, including testing and calibration, is currently being completed, and it is hoped that the system will be available for use in the upcoming business days. To ensure safe usage, the system is being restored using the June 30th back up data. Data entered after that date will not be recovered. Please also note that notifications will not function upon restoration, as those functions are still being reviewed. OSP's Grant and Contract Administrators will work to manually restore data from July 1 onward, and workarounds are in place for upcoming proposal deadlines. | 2021-07-19 13:40:40 EDT | The Pre-Award and Compliance System (PACS) is now available. The restore of the system was completed with a backup from the evening of 6/30/21. Staff are currently working with the PI community to restore data from July 1 onward. System notifications are currently not in working order. Approvers and reviewers will be notified when their action is required. We appreciate the user community's patience during this time. |
